This book started out really, really slow. The inner dialogue, especially Asher’s, was so boring so dragged on. Ty was more interesting. Asher was not a great she had a lot of fault in their relationship. Most was her fault. She never communicated even when she came back. I did like the end b/c Asher finally started answering Ty’s questions. So I was frustrated through most of the book. I would not recommend this book it’s really not worth reading.
Pretty good for one of NR's early works. There was some near violent sex that I found somewhat disturbing. I think sadly this sort of "love scene" was typical of 1980's romance novels. The tennis angle was good, especially since I am NOT a sports person at all. So it must have been some good writing to keep me entertained.
I thought it would've been much better if they had removed the 100 pages off the book.
The story draggggggged on and I thought most of the dialogs and the endless internal thoughts pretty tedious. Moreover, the heroine's repetitive inner whining seemed moronic< I seriously wanted to smack her at times.

This is one of the first Romance novels I ever read and I was hooked. If only all the heros could be like Ty. It's a wonderfully dramatic love story. Still have my battered 1984 Silhouette Special Edition - and let me tell you I didnt keep many. Oldie but goodie.
In life, there would always be this one man who always have a capacity to touch your inner soul, always at the periphery of your heart and mind even if many years have already came to pass... you would still remember the times you were together as if it just happened yesterday...

menyimpan rahasia hati, mengingkarinya dan bersembunyi, bukanlah hal yang mudah. Asher melakukan semua itu demi orang yg dia kasihi.
Tetapi tidak dengan Ty, yang merasa Asher sudah membuat dia kecewa. Walaupun Asher berusaha menutupi kenyataan yg dihadapinya 3 tahun yang lalu, tetapi Ty tetap memburu jawaban Asher.

I wasn't sure if i was going to like this book when i heard it was about tennis, because I'm not a very active person and i don't watch any kind of sport.
But i enjoyed reading this book, and i really liked it.

Loved the story, It seemed to follow a different pattern. But some of the tennis references were wrong, which went that I couldn't enjoy it as much because I was constantly distracted.

An easy read to the point that there was not much plot to digest. The tennis thing was nice but if you remove that a short story might have more plot.
silly romance with a lot of sex between 2 tennis stars travelling between tournaments. And they lived happily ever after

duh...tumben bukunya nora roberts kurang seru begini...awalnya udah oke, eh...tengahnya enggak banget...
Cute story, pretty predictable. I love that it was set in the professional tennis circuit!
It felt unfinished. The drama seems exaggerated. Asher's attitude isn't likeable.

Me encantó, es una historia preciosa. Salvo algunas partes donde la protagonista me colmó la paciencia, pero se compensaba con esa enorme química entre la parejita. Muy lindo ;)

There once was a time where I couldn't get enough of these miscommunication romance stories. Now I can't stand them. Still, Ms. Roberts crafts a good story. Her writing is polished and her characters are your every day person which is why they are so attractive. It's easy to relate to these characters.
It's like watching crappy Indonesian sinetron. The female protagonist has this tendency to victimize herself. I gave this two stars because I like the male protagonist much better.
