I loved the characters that was brought up in this volume such as Jiggy Pepper, niche, and Jiggy's little sister. I liked the character designs of Jiggy Pepper's little siblings. I thought that it was cool that Jiggy's little sister had the design of a boy but then Lag found out that she was a girl. Even i was fooled by her look and attitude and it was cool to find out that she was a rebellious tomboy and tries to be tough and strong for her little brother when her older brother was not around. Reason for Reading: Next in the series.
Summary: Lag is on his way to the National Postal Service where he must take his final interview and test to become a Letter Bee. Niche is accompanying him and insisting on being his Dingo which every Letter Bee must have. Niche is perfect to help in protecting Lag and helping him fight as she has amazing hair which is made of golden swords. Lag Seeing has just (sort of) rescued Niche from the Freak Show at Lovesome Downs and is slowly coming to terms with her insistence on becoming his "dingo". He's now headed towards the capital for his Letter Bee testing. On the way, he and Niche are waylaid by woman who steals their crossing pass. Turns out she has a bone to pick with the Letter Bee institution, primarily the expense associated with mailing a letter, which for the poorer castes is prohibitively expensive. The town the thief hail...more
Tegami Bachi returns with a brand-new story with more action than the first and with a better written story. The characters are fun to see working together against evil men (and women) and monsters like the Gaichuu, who is a stunning sleek serpent-like creature, who hopefully returns in later installments. Better than the first with an end you don't see coming. If its original? That's still up in the air.

SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! UUGGGGHH! I cried reading this! It is so touching and the action is AWESOME!! <333 This manga is definitely becoming one of my all time favs!
I am loving this series. Letter carriers, magic, alien worlds, a feral child, a little furry critter named Steak... It's just fun.
I very much liked first volume and maybe that’s why I was somehow reluctant to read second one as I feared that the second volume might be less interesting. I am pleasant that it wasn’t the case.
It is good as the first volume. Or even maybe better?
Likeable and interesting characters, beautiful art, actual plot and nice humour!
I liked the new character Steak he made me laugh.

I love Hiroyuki Asada's art, and, let's be honest, the plot is pretty awesome. Lag is awesome, and I love Niche and Steak (who is freakin' adorable). The only thing I don't like is that sometimes the art seems a bit cluttered and it's hard to tell exactly what's going on.
But still, it's pretty awesome.
