This book is a good, fun read. Without uncomfortable moments or over-the-top graphic content it manages to set a fast, heart-thumping pace, describes fantastic action vividly, and leaves you feeling energized and good - as well as wanting more!

It is classic fantasy, might be called Old School.

You can even buy a personalized/autographed copy on the web, http://www.dragontayl.com/ and there is a Kindle version on Amazon.

It is such a pleasure for those of us who love fantasy to find a new book that presents unusual characters, intriguing situations and plenty of magic. What makes A scattering of Seeds stand out is the lack of gratutious violence or sexual encounters. You come to really care about this strange visitor who calls himself Dragontayl. We've all wished for a tiny magical companion like Melika, who finds herself attached to this powerful warrior in a symbiotic partnership. Rounding out the trio of trav...more

Like all stories there are numerous opportunities for an author to shine and really bring the scene to life for the reader with words alone. James Lynch d...more

An intricately crafted story following interesting characters through a rich and diverse world, this book is also noteworthy because is the FIRST this promising author has published. Although it started a little slowly, it built steadily as you get more attached to the characters, the storylines, and the entire world that Lynch has created. With depth and wry humor, he spins a story that you get increasingly immersed into. I certainly want to know more about what happens to these characters a...more

Of course, I am somewhat biased, but I really enjoyed this book that my husband wrote. He has written a delightful tale, without the fascination with gore or sexuality that so many fantasy books seem to feel are "required" elements. There are definitely touches of classic fantasy, but he has also woven in some wholly new ideas. I look forward eagerly to his next book.
