Harlequin Historical
linked to The Dark Viscount

I'll be doing an interview with Deborah Simmons on Feb 17th on Facebook.

Yay! Finally Kit's story. I loved The Dark Viscount and couldn't wait for his turn to find love. His sister, Sydony, does not appear in the book directly but his memories of her danger and nearly failed rescue plays a huge role in how he handles Hero Ingram after rescuing her. But that is just how the story begins. The element of danger continues throughout their story to add heart-pounding scenes
Remember "The Ninth Gate", that old movie with Johnny Depp as a rare book dealer who gets sucked into a conspiracy while looking for a rare copy of a demonic text? Imagine this book as that movie, without Johnny Depp of course, adding a little vanilla-flavored love between a gentleman farmer who's a boy scout in training and a young lass who dresses and acts like a young Indiana Jones.

It was okay. Definitely should not be categorized as a historical romance, however.

Not a bad read although the whole 'quest' did seem rather pointless!

A nice love story, but the quest seemed to take the attention away from the characters and spent too much time on 'The Malory book'
