This is a counting book with animals. You get to count along with Elmo and Ernie. The illustrations are fun and bright. It is a good book for toddlers because they get to see two familiar characters from sesame street help them count the animals. I think that makes the book easier to identify with for toddlers because they will recognize the characters. It is a good book to start counting skills in young children.

I am a big Elmo fan and there are lots of colorful animals in this book.
