The quality was potentially higher than three stars, but the drastic abridgement of the story, reduced to 72 pages of graphic fiction, made it a bit too rushed. We are often shown the results of actions, but not the actions or decisons leading to those results.
On the other hand, Martin Powell did his best with an impossible task, and illustrator Alfonso Ruiz had fun with the project.

Decent adaptation of serial story. Easy read. Cricket gets squashed in this version.
