Well this was fairly depressing. Not as depressing as some Nazi-Germany books I've read, but still... Mark believes he's a born and bred German...until the day his parents tell him that he's not. And during the second World War, that's a dangerous thing not to be. All around not a bad book. A couple of things here and there, like quirks of certain character's personalities, but all around, pretty good.
