I won this book from the first-reads giveaway. I don't usually do reviews but since it's one of the requirements of winning, I'll try my best~:)

I was quite taken in by the story when I first started reading it. It is truly quite amazing as stories go. I also quite liked the idea of the different personalities and the way the author portrayed it is very fascinating indeed. Not to mention that you will quite know who will surface up and whether they're good or evil left me quite excited and scared

Last Door was an interesting read into a subject matter I knew next to nothing about. The fact that the book is based on a true story makes what happens even harder to wrap your head around. The excerpts in the back of the book that some of the story was drawn from are also interesting and a nice touch. Will recommend to friends!

This book is hard to explain, it was unbelievable, remarkable, inspirational, and terrifying all at the same time. I am left speechless. Something you should read. It will really leave you thinking.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway. All I can say is: "WOW!" While I was reading I kept thinking, "Are you kidding?!?!". I really wish there had been more information on this particular story - I'd like to research it further. This book was truly unlike anything else I've ever read.

Last Door is a terrifying story that portrays any families worst nightmare. I found myself captivated by this book description, and was compelled that this was a story I just had to read. Relucantly, I began to fear starting this novel due to my own fears of demons and possession. In an effort to overcome my fear I dove right in. Immediately this novel had my full attention, and I was surprised to find this novel to be so much more than a story of possession. As a Christian, we are to believe "H ...more

Let me first begin by saying that my disappointment in this book can maybe be blamed on the fact that I've been really looking forward to reading it.
Now that I've cleared that up, I thought this book was "eh". I can't really come up with a better word for it. The beginning of the book was exciting and became more so when they first discovered the split personalities. However, it got really old when every confrontation with the personalities or demons was the same. Since there were so many of th

The Last Door is a supernatural story based on real life events. Although very interesting, the story is very disturbing, with gory details of cult activities amongst humans and animals alike. At times, it was hard to understand how the parents, could involve Brenden's sisters so much in dealing with the other personalities. It almost seemed like the girls would have a great deal of emotional trouble from being put so frequently in these situations. There is substance to the book but probably no ...more

WOW! What a sad story for a child to live thru. I was amazed that that many personalities could be in one child. My heart goes out to anyone that has been thru what this child went thru!

An excellent book that evokes interesting questions about demonic possession and multiple personality disorders. Scary but a bit campy at the same time.

Crazy book. Sad what some people have to go through. Wished it had a better outcome but it was a cheap read.
