I could get past the "hard-boiled" mentality of the PI, but the fact that this was just a celebration of his finding a regular rentboy bugged me. Any connection (and I hesitate to even use that word) between them was completely manufactured by the monetary exchange.

Describe as "hard-boiled" sex -- I think this is one fun short story with a theme of private eye like in th 1940's. I enjoy the 'different role' of the P.I. and the one man that he is paid to find.

Meh short m/m mystery about a PI who's hired by woman to find her missing twin brother. Not much of a mystery, plus a pretty glaring condom gaffe.

This story is fine. It's very short and basically there isn't much to it. I'm a little icked that there is a rent boy that has sex without a condom, but whatever.
