I love the Yotsuba series! But not as much as the Pokemon Adventures of course. Yotsuba is a really energetic child. She is being taken care by her step dad. The series never showed who her real parents were. But Yotsuba calls him daddy anyways:). I like that Yotsuba is really energetic and exicted to go to new places. Although she can be a little annoying at times. But she is so lovable! This volume was really good. I like when I realized that Yotsuba brang back memories to Asagi and her mom. A...more

This is the 3rd book to my favorite series and this one is probably the best out of the series. Yotsuba is growing up but still has a lot to discover. She gets more friendly with her neighbors and they've bonded into a big family. Yotsuba and her neighbors go out to the ack yard sone night and played with a bunch of sparklers. It looked so fun and cool! Yotsuba has a brain full of imagination and thoughts waiting to explode any moment. She's a young girl that has strange ideals and still e...more

Heh visiting the zoo was very amusing especially the ending. Actually quite a few of the stories always end on a very funny note which is why I enjoy them alot and keep coming back for more.

Again each story is pretty quick so it's nothing you'll lose interest in unless cuteness isn't for you :P

I don't really know what to say except I laughed a lot when I read each chapter and it's addictive to keep on reading and reading.

Yotsuba is a curious girl and she plays Flower Cupid in this book. Jumbo is using Yotsuba to get her friend, Asagi, to notice him, but it doesn't go so well.
I picked it up when I decided to read manga and nothing else was right for me.
I finished it because it was fun to read.
I would recomend this to Rachel, who should read a manga book that doesn't include fighting for once.

Chapters:15,16,17,18,19,20,21.
I finished this vol in less than 1 hour, and it was really funny .
Yotsuba got a Gift from Asagi and she love it ! she loved the idea of having a gift and return it back .. she went to the zoo one day and had a real fun , she loved the Fireworks and she had the first hanabi festival !

And so Yotsuba's adventures continue! I find it extremely interesting who simple and subtle the plot is. You get a dose of her everyday antics and know more and more about her and the people around her, bit by bit. Yotsuba is just extremely cute!

This series is only getting CUTER AND CUTER. I laughed out loud at the punching-the-goat-in-the-face panel. Could not stop giggling. It takes a lot for a book or graphic novel (or manga) to make me literally guffaw. Excellent.

Shes so cute and funny! I love reading about her adventures!
This is the only manga I read now.
(I find manga a bit too short sometimes and you can finish about 4 a day or more.)

This was a graphic Novel. And it was really well translated. The main character has a huge imagination and does whatever comes to hearts content. I think the author worked really hard to make this story great enough to capture the readers mind and have someone put it down until they are finished. The story was a little short because some of the chapters had a quick ending, like it jumped to the end. But the story was detailed enough to make it book worthy. I think this was great. Since it is gra...more

Maybe not quite as good as volume 2, which really pushed the concept in new directions, to the point of not having Yotsuba herself even appear hardly in one story, but no less delightful and cozy.

Very fun, Kiyohiko Azuma captures very well the many idiosyncracies of children. So funny!

Very cute. Although I'm not a comic book fan, this was very good, and I hope to read more.

Why did I read book 3 before book 2? Because that's the one that came in the mail first. :P

Absolutely adorable story. Yotsuba is my hero. :3 I felt a bit stressed and down today, and since there isn't an overarching plot, I went ahead and read this. I instantly began to feel better--brighter and more optimistic. This, paired with a re-read of Inubaka 2, pretty much made my day!

I finally finished reading this book and i,m so happy because this book is very cute and funny! There's a little girl who learns new things everyday and tries to fit in.

This was pretty good. It didn't have any points I considered quite as climactic as the first two books, but I still enjoyed it.

Note: The finish date I have listed is approximate (within a two days). The start date is precise.
Olivia
I suppose that it was not as good as is previous sisters but this is hard to put into writing because of the guilt I feel saying something bad about Yotsuba...

Amazing. As always.
