This book taught a great lesson-to be thankful for what you have! The little bear in the book wishes for so many imaginative things that do not come true. His mother reminds him of all the things that he could wish for that come true for him every day, which makes him thankful, and then she tops it all off by letting him know that he was her wish that came true! A heartwarming book with great illustrations that would be great to read to your own child.

I loved this story about a cute little polar bear who left like his wishes never came true. What a great way to teach little ones that although we may not always get everything that we wish for, that in fact many of our wishes do come true. The best part was when his mamma shares her biggest wish with him. The illustrations were beautiful and the emotion of the bears was so artfully painted.

This is one of those books that you say "Awwwww" at the end. The kind of book really young children love hearing their moms read to them and the illustrations are beautiful.
