I really didn't like the way this friendship was portrayed. It seemed like the little girls took turns using each other and were entirely self-centered. I'd like to hope that most little girls (and their friendships) are not like this. Maybe they are? Even so, I'd rather see a story where the kids at least attempt to care about each other occasionally.
