I don't think I can do this book any justice in this review, so just bear with me.
I didn't finish it. I got about halfway, and then stopped. This isn't my type of book. Yeah, paranormal fantasy, main character kick-ass female, but the language is not my style of reading. It doesn't draw me in to the story.
Maybe when, and if I get around to reading it, I'll do a better review. But for now, I recommend this book to people who can bear the oldy-day-ish wording with fantasy thrown into the mix. And...more

I don't usually read books of this genre, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and visiting the world the author created. The language, the actions of the characters, the descriptions...all were interwoven into an enjoyable tale. I especially liked the the main characters. Para and Mun were fleshed out and flawed...just the kind of characters that keep me interested.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
