Angeline is a young French woman who we meet on a stone block in the middle of the Egyptian market place of Alexandria, being sold as a slave. Angeline is angry and hungry... but lucky. I enjoyed the book, but felt the history in it was not enough. But then again, I like history-rich books!
I thought this was a wonderful book of faith and survival. really good.
