Charles
extremely close to Tarzan by ERB, but not nearly as good. More of the competition between Burroughs and Kline.

My study of pulp writing and pulp writers continues. This book might have rated two stars, but Kline's attempt to put an entire sequel in the last chapter really hurts the book. This is the only Kline book/story I have read, but my impression is that his choice to become a literary agent was a good move. Too bad that Goodreads does not have the cover of the Ace paperback reprint on file. It is a striking image, the best thing about this book.
