I prefer the Criag Rice novels, but the short stories here were all good. Hildegard Withers is a nice foil for Malone. Sometimes the emphasis is on complicated plotting instead of our intrepid detectives, but it is still a good read and recommended for those who like fun in their mysteries.
Stuart Palmer (1905–1968) was an American author of mysteries.
