I had wanted to read this book for some time. The description on the back of the book sounded right up my alley. It for the most part was, except something didn't really fit for me. I loved the characters, so it wasn't that. I don't know I wish I could narrow it down but I can't. All I can say is that the book on a whole disappointed me. Still thought give it a try because there were funny moments and even cute ones. This book may work for you, and I could have just read it at a bad time.
I absolutely love Beverly Brandt's books. So far this is my favorite of all her books. If you are into Chic Lit this author is for you. The main character is always endearingly clumsy or short sighted about life. They can be difficult to find in stores, however I have had great experiences with all the second hand book sellers connected with Barnes and Noble online. Happy Reading!
It's an ok book. I think I keep telling myself I like her books more than I do because once I start I remember that I am not a huge fan. Her story telling takes a long time and I still feel like I do not get the details I want to envision the scene. However, her humor is priceless and I did find myself laughing out loud during multiple parts in this book.
