"Where I am always thou art. Thy image lives within my heart."

Oh boy! I loved this one. I don't know what to say. There sure happened a whole lot, and there was barely any time to breathe in between everything that was going wrong! It all seemed like a quite hopeless situation and I was constantly aching for the characters--I even had tears streaming down my face at one point.

I've always loved the Kattalakis brothers and the Peltiers. It was especially interesting to find ou...more

Throughout the series, it was pretty much a given that Aimee and Fang would end up together, and they finally did! However, the path to true love never runs smoothly, and our intrepid heroes have to endure much to reach their HEA.

This book definitely isn't a stand-alone, but really the only ones you need to read to understand what's going on in this book are Night Play and Unleash the Night. On top of revisiting a lot of the favorite characters (okay, all of the characters; was that really neces...more

I have been waiting for " Bad Moon Rising " with anticipation for a while to finally read the story of Fang Kattalakis ( wolf ) and Aimee Peliteir ( Bear )with the expectation it would be a type of Romeo & Juliet story, and was so thilled, me and a few of my friends treked down to where she was signing the new release.
I have very mixed feelings about this book after reading it, in fact I was disappointed with the story as a whole. SK is a wonderful writer so she had me reading untill the very...more

Fang and Aimee… FINALLY!!!

Their relationship between the hotheaded, sarcastic wolf and sweet, funloving bear has been hinted at in other books of the series, and now, finally we get their full story, and oh my God, was it intense! I can’t believe everything they went through! In all of the mentions of Fang and Aimee together in other books, there has always been this sense of forbidden love about them, and now, given the chance to get inside their heads and see their story play out, do we realis...more

Whew! I was happy with Bad Moon Rising, and kind of surprised. The last couple books in this series have kind of been lacking. I’ve been anticipating Fang and Aimee’s romance for months.

I was really interested in getting to know the Peltier bears. They’ve been mentioned so many times, but we really don’t know much about them. Since we know Fang is wolf, and Aimee is bear, how will they be able to be together? Is their a chance the Fates would make them mates?

The book starts a few years back, pr...more

Dare I say that I enjoyed this book just as much as Acherons? I think YES!

I think Ms. Kenyon did a most amazing job of telling Fang and Aimee's story. It was great how we got to see their relationship develop and how all those little snippets of the two of them from previous book were all worked into this one.

I had no idea that they knew each other before Fang was bought into Sanctuary and that Aimee was the one who saved him. That was a complete left fie...more

Another great installment in the Dark-/Dream-/Were-Hunter saga!

The story of Aimee, Fang and their impossible love has been long in the making, from the almost very beginning of the series, but it's been definitely worth the wait.

As much as this was mostly a solid paranormal romance, Kenyon-style, of course, I loved the fact she decided to delve a little deeper than the usual Daimon/Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter dealings.
We've wondered if it was at all possible for two different species of Weres to "mi...more

This book was not as good as the others. I feel that she needed to have a better proof reader, to catch all the time lapses and other issues I felt wear in this book. She failed to mention Katrina as well as keep a accurate time table during the story. Fang and Aimee's story starts in '03 and doesn't concluede until '09, that is 5 years worth of story line including the very BIG issue of Katrina which the author completely skipped. Didn't even mention. Not counting Fury mating, "Hello" when did...more

After ordering the book from Amazon I went to read the reviews they had on there and quickly decided that I made a mistake buying the book since most of them said it was dull, awful, or repeated material. Well they were right about one thing. The out line of the story was already known to me since, the lead characters were involved in the 18 other books of this series. What I as a reader didn't know were the details behind it. And you know what they say about the devil being in the details right...more

Aimee and Fang's story - and the thickest one since "Acheron".

One of my favorite Dark-Hunter novels so far. The romance with this one stretched over a long period of time, therefore you were more invested in their happily ever after. It was also nice to see the rewind and earlier events in the series retold from Fang's point of view.

Makes me want to reread Vane's story, and maybe Wren's and Fury's. Was Fury's story a short? I've lost track.

Great read. I still say Sherrilyn Kenyon is the queen o...more

Recommends it for: A must read
This book really brought everything together for the Dark Hunter series. Do not read this book with out making you way through the others.
Like Acheron, this book fills in the blanks and extends the stories of Vane, Fang, and Fury.
I won't spoil a thing. This is yet another great novel by SK and work the money to but it in Hardback.

Enjoy.

when i read the initial reviews of this book i didn't know what to expect. after i read the book i found i didn't agree with most of them. seems like the common complaints were that there is a lot of rehashing. well yes, there is. we do read a lot of missing scenes from previous books. they were pretty much all either things we never got to see in the first part or told from a dramatically different point of view. it did not seem redundant at all. another complaint was that it took so long to ge...more

Fang Kattalakis is one bad wolf. Having to protect his siblings from a vicious father and pack he's had to be. When he meets the only daughter to infamous Peltier Bear clan, he's instantly smitten and shocked at the same time. No one has touched him as much as Aimee Peltier and he finds himself helplessly drawn to her, even though he knows such an intermingling of species can never be.

Aimee can't believe the feelings the rough wolf wear-hunter arouses in her. She's always thought the wolves were...more

I was hoping that Fang and Aimee would have their own book, and damn it was awesome. I absolutely loved these two. Aimee...what can I say, I loved her strength, determination and her love for a man that she knew would change so much for her. And Fang, OMG...I loved this wolf, what he went through to protect Aimee was beyond unbelievable...I have to say it again...I loved this wolf. I highly recommend this book, read it you won't be sorry. I can't believe I have read this entire series...now I ha...more

Good but not my fave.. I think Kenyon done a great job going back to When Vane and Fury was at the Talon's swamp and coming to the present I say 5 stars for that...
The story line started to drag in the middle and so lacking in the romance department so not like most of her books... The ending was good. So, glad she added Simi in to this book love her.. I can just see Simi busting Fury out of Savitar's jail LOL...
She also adds new Characters that I think we will be seeing more of..

Finally Fang & Aimee's story!!! In this Were-Hunter book, Kenyon takes us all the way back to the beginning of Fang's story so we can meet his pack & understand his relationship with Vane & even Fury before they found out they were brothers. It was Fang & Aimee's side of Night Play (Dark-Hunter, #6) which was really interesting because nothing was as it seemed. We met a few new characters & of course got to know the bears much better. I loved Aimee's dedication to her family,...more

Fang and Aimee are very much opposite, one a wolf, one a bear but they can’t help the instant attraction they feel for each other, forbidden love. Aimee is a strong, bold female lead which is what I like. She is also powerful, I laughed when she zapped Fang on the butt. Vane and Fang find themselves in danger when getting caught by Daimons, Aimee feeling Fang in harms way comes to the rescue with help, though the Daimons sucked too much of Fang’s soul and he finds himself between living and dead...more

Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon

A long time ago, when I first discovered romantic fiction, I found a Sherrilyn Kenyon book and was instantly hooked. What an imagination! The heady combination of intense, sexy, truly "heroic" heroes, her fascinating twist on mythology, and lots of lusty sex, fanned the flames of my romance addiction. Kenyon and Christine Feehan were my introduction to paranormal romance, and I could not get enough of their stuff.

Two of her books really stand out for me. Dance...more

I have loved Fang from the very first time he appeared in this series. So I was more than eager to read his book.
Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this book is. Fang and Aimee are a fantastic couple. The crossovers into Vane and Wren's books are so clever, mind blowing really.
What I really liked about Fang and Aimee was that their journey was not plain sailing. They had to fight for eachother, be separated for months and really work through their feelings before it turned into what...more

Well the first word in the title certainly applies...

This is the first Sherrilyn Kenyon book that I've picked up. Until now, I had no idea that I was reading #19 in the series. Apparently, you need to read the other 18 to understand this, because the plot is utterly confusing without some level of context.

The story begins with a prologue which basically tells how the whole tale is going to go, and I spent the first 50 pages getting confused as to why these people hated each other. I spent the n...more

I am glad to finally know how the Aimee and Fang saga turned out, but this book should have come about 5 books ago and It would have gotten a def 4 star. I have had to endure these two angsting and pining after each other for so many books now only to have them do the same for 300 pages of their own book. True. They didn't seal the deal until about page 300. WTH?

This is just a public service announcement

This is my fav quote from the book. I mean there was some great dialogue between the characters and it was just the classic SK maybe I am feel sentimental and felt this story was as great as Acheron's, maybe I shouldn't wait soo long to read them , but what ever I enjoyed it sooo much. Loving Fang and Aimee together. Their story was just amazing and terrible and at one point I really did think there was no HEA for them. The gr...more
