The Keepers of Elenath is overall a good story. The author has an Appendix at the end to help you figure out who the main characters are. I found this very helpful and have used the idea in my own books.

I thought The Keepers of Elenath was very good. The story is about a princess named Gwaeron who has many secrets about who she is and the strange gifts that she has. There is evil all around haunting the land and giving nightmares to Elenath and the others that are terrifying. There is also a young boy who vows to become a Knight. My favorite genre is fantasy. "The Keepers of Elenath" by Amanda Bradburn has everything I want in a fantasy. It is intelligently written, action packed, filled with interesting well fleshed out characters, nasty critters, scary bad guys, and a creative, interesting storyline that is unpredictable and hard to put down. I found "The Keepers of Elenath" an engrossing and enjoyable book. It had unique and memorable characters and original creatures, a good plot, a great message behind the story, and it was well-written and easy to read. I'm definitely going to check out book two!
