The Disney fairies of the Peter Pan Universe can not be silenced. All critics of these short-skirted Grrl power heroines will b required to suck up and take it on the chin. How could you go wrong with classic Disney fairy tales? This book exhibits three of the more common stories at a reading level appropriate for new readers. With few sentences and words on each page, and more basic vocabulary, this is the perfect set of books for new readers. Children will connect with the stories because they have likely heard them before or have watched the movies. I would recommend this for children in grades 1-2.
