I found this a delightful and simple way to get lessons across that children of all ages need to learn. The illustrations told the story as well as the words did. I would recommend this book for the children on your gift list.

I read this book with my daughter she thought it was a very good book to read and the pictures would tell the story by them selfs, a nice childrens book.

My grandchildren are 3 and 1 and a half. They loved this story so much had to do it again. I'm sure we will be again after lunch. This is a good story on friendship. By looking at our appearance we can't tell what we can be or do. We all are not the same. But we all are unique in our own way. Which is the lesson taught here.
The story was well written and well illustrated. Thanks so much for the great story Kelly.
I was given this book for my own honest review.

A cute children's book that all children would enjoy! A cute story to teach that we can be different and still be the same; and, that we can be different and still be friends.

A tiny caterpillar explores the forest to find new friends. Every potential friend he approaches say they are different and cannot be friends. He goes back to his steady friend, The Great Big Tree, and settles down for a change. When he wakes, he has become a butterfly and flies to all of those that said they couldn't be hi

The Tiny Caterpillar is a wonderfully illustrated and written book. The tiny caterpillar lives in a big tree; the tree is also his friend. One day the caterpillar leaves his to explore the world around him. He is saddened when the insects he meets won’t be his friend. The tiny caterpillar goes back to his friend the tree, and finds comfort. Each insect has its own reason for at first dismissing the tiny caterpillar, but when the caterpillar wrapped itself in a cocoon and emerged a butterfly, he ...more

Great story!

I read this book with my 7 year old son and 3 year old daughter and they both loved it! As a parent, I loved it too. This was a great story about how we are all different and some things can't be seen on the outside. This was a very sweet, engaging twist on the don't judge a book by it's cover theme. I would highly recommend it to friends.
