What a nice surprise Unrequited was. I loved how Vic and Shane's relationship evolved, and I especially like the quick and witty dialog that Ms. Roux writes. This is a story about real men, men that we all know, men that are balanced and very likable. I liked this book and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Roux.

I give Unrequited four stars.

This was a nice, light, romantic read.
I read a lot of M/M romance. I honestly prefer angsty, heartfelt stories, so I can't claim this as my favorite, but it was good for a lazy day where I just wanted to relax and not sob my eyes out.
It also is a very realistic story and I love that about Abigail Roux's writing.

Nicely done story about a man who's spent the last few years in a "relationship" with someone who thought they were just friends with benefits. When he finally decides he needs more a vacation with an old friend turns out to be a real eye, and heart, opener. I enjoyed it although I found it hard to believe that after so long none of the men really knew how the others felt.

I like Roux's work with Urban a great deal, and this was a good journeyman's story that certainly plays out its title. I wish there had been a little more conflict, though, and a little more world-building. It was a bit paper thin.

This was sweet and short. Not much else I can say about it. I don't think I've gone wrong with an Abigail Roux so far and am glad that even with a straightforward romance like Unrequited, she gets it right for me. Others might prefer a more emotionally-charged story with a bit more drama, though.

The plot was pretty straight forward with no surprises. But I enjoy the humor and the sunny disposition of Roux's MCs. It's nice to have an go to author for sweet stories that leave you with a smile.

Some of the best dialogue I read all year, creating real men, in real relationships, that made this an absolute pleasure to read. Add in some of the hottest kisses I've read as well, and I couldn't give it less than five stars.

There is no question of what this book is and how it will end but Roux has such a good talent for writing life-like characters I was interested in what was going on, page alpha to omega.

some people just have the gift and Abigail Roux does. Another 5 star heart warmer from her.

Really nice story about finding out 'the one' (Shane) was right in front of him(Vic) all along masquerading as his best friend. Good road trip & summer beach read.

This one is standard Abigail Roux. Always well written in my opinion but has the added bonus of having some really hot kissing scenes. IMO

This was a nice story of one unrequited love finally being returned.
Vic has been in love with his friend with benefits Owen for years, with Owen being totally in the dark about Vic's feeling for him.
Shane has been Vic's best friend and sounding board about Owen, when Shane talks Vic into a vacation, their friendship develops into much more.
This is a cute, angst free story and I enjoyed it very much!

This is the story of Vic. he is a 37 year old lawyer in love with a man that has no idea. It's making him miserable, so his best friend suggests they go drink on a beach. While he's there he realizes that maybe there's someone else worth giving his heart to.

The thing is this is a nice story, but there isn't a bad guy. There's almost no drama, yet I found myself tearing up. Who knows why? I liked it.
