What a fantastic novel. I absolutely love these novels that mix fiction with historical facts. On more than one occasion I found myself going to Google and researching out an element or two of events to find out more. Did this really happen? Sure enough, it did.
The action is non-stop and the depth of the research by the authors is phenominal. Not only do they keep my attention with good plot, indepth characters, mystery and action, but they go throwing in historical elements and even...more

Loved the second novel following October Guinness and Jax Alexander. I love books that not only keep you totally absorbed, but that make you realize that nothing is ever what it seems. There will always be good and bad, and people who do not so good things for what they see as good reasons. Can't wait to read more by this team of authors! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there was a little more language in this one than the first.
I'm not actually finished yet but I have a great deal of difficulty putting this thriller down! It's about an experienced CIA agent and an inexperienced Navy 'remote viewer' who are trying to uncover the secret behind a salvaged Nazi U-Boat and its missing contents, and find themselves on the trail of a plot to obliterate the Middle East. Like I said, I'm not finished, but as soon as I started reading it I got sucked right in!
A remote viewing of a WWII U boat by October Guinness causes the U.S. government, who can "see" events occurring on the other side of the globe to send her and loose cannon partner, CIA agent Jax Alexander—who questions the validity of Tobie's "gift"—have arrived too late to prevent a bloodbath . . . and perhaps the Apocalypse as well. Now every second brings the unthinkable a step closer—and places Tobie and Jax in the gunsights of powerful enemies in frighteningly high plac...more
pretty good action thriller spy book. I admit I was frustrated because I felt I was halfway through the book before I had any real idea about what "IT" was. It did make me want to keep reading until I knew what the threat was. A great book to read while traveling.
This is the 2nd book that I have read by this author & I enjoyed it as much as the 1st. I like the concept of remote viewing and the interaction between Tobie & Jax. Looking forward to the next episode.
I like this character; Toby Guiness. The remote viewing thing is wierd, but interesting and the stuff about the government is shocking!
This isn't my usual brain candy, but I really liked it!
I didn't enjoy this second book as much as the first, but I really like the suspense in this author. This book is about still the remote viewer October and CIA guy Jax and how they have to figure out what was in the Nazi U-boat raised up in Russia and who wants to use the deadly bio weapon they find out about. Overall, still very good and good page turner. Keeps you wondering what is going on.
Way too much bad language. Really enjoyed the story line, like the characters...but really it would be great if only the use of those yucky words were cut.
