This is the only exercise program I could use following pelvis instability after my last pregnancy. I love Theresa's premise which is to strengthen the core and several other muscles at the same time with each exercise. A bit hard to figure out without seeing some of the exercise videos. Recommended for rehabilitative strengthening and for understanding Theresa's vision. My lower back feels great and my core is much stronger after nearly a year of pretty consistent T-tapping.

Read the book in one sitting and have started the exercises, which are kind of hard to learn from reading directions in a book. It would probably have been easier for me if I'd gotten the DVD instead, but I really didn't want to spend the money on it if it wasn't going to be really good. I'll rate the book once I've had a little more time to learn the exercises.
I love t-tapp! I can not say enough about how amazing this workout is. I have done just about everything, and nothing has given me the results of t-tapp. No back pain... no more lifting weights... I get it all with t-tapp. if interested go to betterbodybasics.com

a GF of mine convinced me to go to a T-Tapp class with her even though i typically LOATHE group exercise classes (other than maybe yoga). it wasn't horrible. okay, it actually wasn't bad at all and reminded me a lot of the movements/stretches from the dance and gymnastics i did as a child. lots of core focus and having to constantly come back to 1 main position (ballet anyone?). also some yoga and pilates elements. not bad at all.

This book is a great supplement to Teresa's workout videos, but challenging to follow as a stand-alone for someone who has never seen a T-Tapp workout.
And as a shameless plug, I am a T-Tapp trainer, so email me if you have questions.

The scientific information may be a bit more than I am personally interested in but it is still good to know. The exercise photographs are excellent for following step by step.
Seems like a well-researched method of non-impact exercise. She focuses on the core, which I have beleive is the base of keeping strong and toned. I have tried moves from her workout for several weeks and feel good. Now I just need to get the thumbs up from my neck doc and I will most likely purchase the DVDs that go with the book. Although the exercises are in the book, it is excruciatingly difficult to figure out how to do the exercise correctly. There are some free video clips on her website ...more
There is A LOT of information. About half of the book is lengthy explanations of the exercises. Although this is good, I can't see how to do them. I am waiting for my dvd. I can't wait. This book and the DVD will certainly compliment each other greatly!
You really do need a video to understand the exercises, but I'm loving this method.

okay, I'm convinced! Looking forward to being more fabulous!
It's like a weird cult that I want to join. Starting the boot camp today .... Okay, so I think it's working. I've been secretly losing a pound here and there. I don't want to tell anyone because I don't think that it's actually noticeable. Bonus: there are several videos, and in the first one Theresa Tapp is wearing a white, pleather unitard. Mock-turtle neck, backless, and all the way down to her ankles. No shit.
This and the DVD workout has changed my life (and figure)...
It Really dose work!! I lost like 2 or 3 inches in a week!!
