First off I love my sweets but lately I have been trying to eat healthier. I had no expectations when I first got this book. I know next to nothing about foods in their raw states. When I opened this book, I was surprised at all the different recipes there were to choose from. There was everything from…Almond-Pecan crust to Dark Chocolate Truffles. Love the recipes in this book. Usually if I'm reading a recipe book, I place bookmarks in the pages to mark the ones I want to try. Well, I gave up when I read this book, because I want to try nearly all of these amazing recipes. When I told friends I could eat anything I wanted as long as it was raw, and as much as I feel like no matter how rich, they were like, how can food be rich when it's raw? I never thought eating raw desserts could be so yummy, but they are. Some of my favorites are the raw chocolate ice cream, the raw pistachio ice cream, and the chocolate cupcakes; who knew cupcakes didn't have to be baked?! Awesome! The main ingredients for most of these recipes is almond milk. A few times I bought mine instead of making it, but now, I make my own and it is super easy!
