Entertaining enough that I didn't think it deserved a 3, but that doesn't mean it is a transcendental book that will change your life. It did provide me some insight into the world and mind of Charles Saatchi, the renowned art collector who is given credit for shaping the art market (although he would differ).
I read it in about 2 hours, so it goes by very quickly.

It's imperative to know something about ex-advertising giant and art collector Charles Saatchi to enjoy this book, but if you do you will find it priceless. Saatchi is probably the most colorful and original character in the contemporary art world. The book is beautifully designed and reads in a flash.

This is a funny and brief interview with art collector and renowned advertising executive Charles Saatchi, whose snarky and pithy views on the art world are definitely worth reading for anyone interested in contemporary art. Plus, you can fling through the book in about an hour, so even if you find Saatchi obnoxious and repulsive, there's little time commitment involved.
Rainer
it's basicly an interview with Charles Saatchi in nice layout and some additional pictures. If you want to become a collector of contemporary art, you'll find some nice insights. I read the book in about 30 minutes - so don't expect too much in terms of content.

A good book for art lovers, with some interesting insight into Saatchi and the modern art collector. I'm not really a fan of the man, but his support and knowledge of art, and his work to make art more accessible seem noble and were fun to read about.

Not particularly relevant if you are not familiar with the art system, otherwise totally to the point, witty & hilarious.
Kevin
Decent read and very shallow glance into uber-private advertising vanguard Charles Saatchi's life and thoughts on art.

Try to borrow this book, it's not really worth your hard-earned dollars, or pounds, for that matter.
Kemal şekkeli
He and his thoughts are unusual, agreeable, and captivating.
Adeleh
A good insight and very likable. Saatchi you are a lucky man.
Mustafa
a funny book , but I didn't enjoy it that much to be honest

Short little book you can read in an hour- did make me warm somewhat to the usually media shy Mr Saatchi. Fairly grounded really for someone who goes around spending pots and pots of money on art. I think I would stay grounded in such a situation- if someone would give me a chance...

Basically an interview, and not that insightful if you're already familiar wit the art world
Roberta
Fun and witty.

Read if you want the perspective of an "Artoholic" on Contemporary art.

The catch is "Artoholic" = pure love for art only - this is the focal point from his perspective. Is it ?

This is a quick read but interesting if you are interested in the art world.

pretentious posturing, read if you want to know his personality. Not educational about the art market - he doesn't answer the questions.

Really clever stuff from Saatchi, but what do you expect? Dude was in advertising.
