Sharp wit is on full display in this book of poetry, which achieves an unsurpassed mastery of form while addressing subjects unsettling, deeply shocking, or absolutely sinister. With clarity and depictions of odd circumstances, this collection's secret weapon is the use of satireto provide sudden jolts of deep resonance.

2009 Aug 13 - I don't remember where I read about this book or why I put a request in for it at the library, but I seem to be drawn to random poetry lately. So far there is an Asian theme to the subject matter but I've really only started.
