In all honesty, i thought i would like this book because the story line seemed catchy. For some reason i though there would be chemistry between the characters but since i am disappointed then its obvious that my expectations were dashed.
I know harlequin books are far from reality but this story to me was totally ridiculous; i kept jumping lines because it was hard for me to focus on the story and the lines did not hold my interest. i found it a bit bothersome that the author felt the need to me
this was not bad! it had its funny moments and wud have been much better without the profound introspection. i had 2 skip pages as i wanted more action and less introspection. i was also blasé about the tortured hero theme, who felt guilty of not protecting his siblings when he himself had only been a kid.

I love this book so much though I wish I would have read it before Juno and Mac's story. I liked it better than their story because it felt more heart felt. All the characters had traumatic things happen in the past that still drive their present even though they wish it didn't. I would love some if not all of the sisters stories.
Sometimes I wish there was half stars cause I think I would have given this book a 2.5... and sometimes I just need to pick up a nice good Harlequin romance. Nothing out of the ordinary, anything you would expect from one of these (if you've read them before). Great for a quick read.

My name's Heidi Rice, I'm a USA Today Bestselling author (because one of my books once hit no. 100 on the list! But it still counts!) I'm married with two teenage sons (which gives me rather too much of an insight into the male psyche!). I also work as a film journalist and I was born in Notting Hill in West London (before it became as chi-chi as it is in the film starring Hugh Grant!) and I now l ...more
