This book informs us of the strong curative powers of the oil of wild oregano. This oil kills viruses, bacteria, moulds, fungi and parasites.

The crucial factor, states the author, is that the oil must be derived from "the wild oregano spice, which grows in the remote high mountains of the Mediterranean", more precisely from "Lebanon, Greece, Syria, and Turkey". These are the only reliable sources.

I had Dr. Ingram's previous book "The Cure Is In The Cupboard" and I liked it, but felt it didn't talk enough about specific scientific studies, and also thought it could've been laid out a bit better.

Anyway, this book is an improvement, overall. It talks a lot more about the higher doses you might take for severe or stubborn infections. It talks about the different kinds of oregano oil preparations and what they are better for. It sites many more scientific studies, which is the big plus.
