I really liked the characters and story, much more so than in the movie. The series covers all the novels in the series, so it was a wonderful opportunity to learn the full scope of the story. I really enjoyed this series.
An unsatisfying end, unsatisfying conflict, and the author's conversion to Jesus was just annoying.
