This is a short story that adds a lot of action and little depth with some awkward writing and characterization. As a first novel (I think), the author has potential and readers may forgive some of the more obvious writing gaffes but the lack of coherent storyline and unsatisfying ending may turn some away. The intention of the story comes through but the execution unfortunately doesn’t follow. There is potential for a sequel though so I’ll be interested to see where the author takes the charact ...more
