Really interesting account of the denialism and charlatanism that characterized the Mbeki/Mano reign. Essays by key players and observers documenting different aspects of the failed, flawed policy of the South African government towards the HIV/AIDS crisis in the country. Especially interesting to me as I lived thru and had a front row seat for the key year of 2003 leading up to and after the national treatment policy went into effect.

Still shocked. Cant believe that educated people could have been so blind in denying that HIV causes AIDS. And denying children the right to live.

I think all these guilty parties should be tried at in the Netherlands for crimes against humanity.
