Lieutenant Nick Leandros is a battle-hardened soldier who thinks he's seen everything. But nothing prepares him for the horror he encounters in a dark, war-torn forest. Wild, Tethered, Bound is another quick steamy Nocturne Bite from Draven and like her other stories she uses war as a catalyst to bring a mythological entity to life. This time it is the hero Nick whose experience in Afaganastan fractures him, while an encounter with a dryad just before his traumatic split, leaves him as her only hope for a future.

I just love Draven's application of mythical creatures to things that are happening in our time.

The conflicts and emotions were real and believable, the premise was clever and well-thought out. I

But as the story unfolded, it made sense and the steam rose in the ro ...more

Wonderful world building in such a short space; characters that have stuck with me; really heartfelt and HOT! Enjoyed!
I finished this one afternoon on the beach. Couldn't put it down and wished there was a sequel. A guilty pleasure.

Stephanie Draven is currently a denizen of Baltimore, that city of ravens and purple night skies. She lives there with her favorite nocturnal creatures–three scheming cats and a deliciously wicked husband. And when she is not busy with dark domestic rituals, she writes her books.

Stephanie has always been a storyteller. In elementary school, she channeled Scheherazade, weaving a series of stories t
