Maybe it's not fair to review the whole book since I only read the title sermon, but it was a bit juvenile. Basically he throws out one verse and then follows it with a bunch of anecdotes that sort of illustrate the same basic idea of the verse, whose meaning was obvious to begin with. In other words, it lacked any depth. Maybe that is the intention, I'm sure that sits well with some audiences, but I decided it wasn't worth my time to continue reading.

Dwight Lyman Moody was a predominant evangelist, author, and publisher. Raised on a farm in Massachusetts, he moved first to Boston, where he converted to evangelical Christianity in 1856, and then to Chicago, where he prospered in business.
