An enlightening & entertaining look at several individual poets (including mini-bios) from several specific Latin American countries. Of the four books in this set, this is obviously for the oldest children. Some of the poems are quite challenging.

Alma Flor Ada is always wonderful, and this is enjoyable for all, but:

Shelves: juvenile, poetry, spanish
With a little help from my friend the dictionario, I was able to navigate these poems for children and even to pick up a bit of idiom with which to dazzle, maybe, the kindergartners (quizá, quizás si; quizá, quizás no).
