Erotic Horizon
The Cattle Valley Day celebration is coming up and Nate now Mayor of Cattle Valley is organising the whole kit and caboodle - himself. Nate being Nate, he throws himself into the planning to the exclusion of all else including his long suffering men at home.

Wanting to support Nate in his first every major event they take a sideline to the late nights he puts in at the office as well as the dinners he either never shows up for or late getting to. Something had to give as with three men who have a

Whoa, this one was not what I was expecting. Not that that's a bad thing – just that I'm surprised. The tension between the 3 partners didn't feel satisfactorily resolved. Their relationship was tested and they seemed to come through OK, but I was left feeling like there was still more of their story to be told. Tragedy struck the community and was dealt with but the ending didn't have the usual happy feel that I've come to expect from Carol Lynne. It felt as though the ending was left open. Cat ...more

There's not too much I can say about this story except it's astounding. Very powerful. I also worried a little about how the three men would deal with their relationship at the start of the book. Even though I'd read it before, and knew they would be fine, it was still a worry.

On a side note, I was thrilled to see more of Jay, who I think has to be just about my favorite character of the series. There's just something about him :)

***As you'll have noticed, I don't really write "reviews", just my

Read many of the Cattle Valley books but this one was the best. I love Nate/Rio/Ryan and the different personalities and dynamics that work for the trio. There were a lot of characters in the book and it was hard to keep them straight (no pun intended)but at the same time, you really felt the pain. Would recommend this book!!

Hands-down one of my fave in the series. This was an emotional ride for Ryan, Rio and Nate and I loved it. It was well-written and allowed me further access and personal information about my favourite characters in the series. The addition of the Good Brothers just made the story even better.

I loved this one and hated it...Oh Poor Nate...He went through hell in this one...Rio too....But they all pulled together...The ending was amazing...Nate did what he needed to do x

In the 12th installment of the Cattle Valley series, Carol Lynne delivers a poignant story of love, humanity, community and unity. We get the chance to revisit favorite characters from the Good-time Boys series, spend time with favorite Cattle Valley residents and even meet a new resident, all in the context of a fabulously emotional story.

It was certainly fun to read about the Good brothers again. I also loved reading about the new challenges facing Nate, Rio and Ryan, because they seem so beli

Lynne has written a very emotional story that lets us catch up with Ryan, Nate, and Rio as Nate, in his capacity as mayor, prepares for Cattle Valley Days. The new job is stressing him. His fear of failing his community and his lovers is overwhelming him, but he isn't allowing himself to ask for help. Ryan is getting angry, and the stress is making Rio ill. Then, just when things are starting to look better, tragedy strikes the community.

This entry into the Cattle Valley series is one of my favo

LOVED Mayor Nate and his presence through out this book and how we see him grow. Also loved seeing the Good Brothers and their families. Pity about the Rodeo but beautifully written

So tragic.... but so good! I liked the drama of this one. Nate totally proves his worth as mayor of Cattle Valley. It was nice to get one focused on the three boys we started with!

Ok, I admit it. I'm hopelessly biased, but suffice it to say that ANY 'Cattle Valley' Book featuring Ryan, Rio, and Nate is going to be a good one. The dedication these three have amazes me and they certainly have a unique way to settle their differences, one which takes 'makeup sex' to a whole new level. More of Rio's past is revealed giving us more insight concerning his behavior and through extreme circumstances, 'baby' Nate comes into his own, bringing them even closer. However due to other ...more

My expectations for this book was low because according to the blurb I didn't see that the story would focus on a new couple. The book started out with a bang! I finally got to see Ryan fuck Rio instead of Nate. I mean Ryan and Rio were a couple before Nate came along so they had to be doing each other. Then at the end I get another surprise with Nate fucking Rio. Now all I want before the end of this series is for Ryan to get fucked. LOL!

It was unfortunate the accident that occurred but I defin

This book was by far the best one so far and maybe it's because I love the heartfail in my stories but the tension building between Nate, Rio, and Ryan is palpable and kinda scary at first... I really didn't like seeing them so rocky during this book.

I'm glad we got to know more about Mario and the end of the book killed me. I mean I heard there was something bad that happened at Cattle Valley Days but I wasn't expecting that and boy did I cry... it was hard to read and see everyone going throu

I have been avoiding this story because it involve my least favorite character in Cattle Valley beside Guy which is Nate. I love the interaction between Rio and Ryan but when Nate comes into play I just want to skip those pages. I have read pretty much every book in the Cattle Valley series but mostly skip the ones featuring these trio that have to include Nate. It was a decent story but mostly nothing really was surprising since I have read ahead in this series

You could read this book without the books before hand, but honestly you will not get the impact of events.. so do yourself a favour and READ the books before hand.

IF you've read the others... hold on to your (cowboy) hat.. your in for a HELL of a lot in this book.

READ IT!!!

This is a reunion of many of the characters from earlier stories in the series. When a disaster strikes the community, we see Mario and Asa finally coming together.

One of the few of the books that ended on more of a "real" not than a HEA. I do love my series. Addicted to the end and hoping to sleep at night and read at night :)

Again, another firm favourite, I love how the town pull together in this.
