The Hermit's
This DENSE book is my first proper introduction to marxism and exposé on capitalism. It is one of those books that I will struggle to get through over a year + just because it is filled with so many insightful critiques and logical explanations on capitalism; seemingly in every paragraph if not every sentence:

Harman's magnificent book has literally nothing to do with zombies (I don't believe the word is mentioned even once anywhere in the book), but it is one of the most compelling and thoroughly researched scholarly analyses of the history of capitalism.
