رجل عجوز هو بطل الرواية
وأعتقد البطل الآخر لو أننا نفخنا فيه الروح هو العمر ككائن مرتبط بالعجوز الأرمل
ذلك يتقدم ليخسر من قوته وذلك يقتات على ما تقدم

تعاطفت معه حد الشفقة وهذه تحسب للمؤلف
نقل مباشر لمرارة العمر وهو يقفز أمامك من خلال جسدك، ومن خلال إهمال غارق في اللامبالاة من أفراد أسرته
رغم محاولات الإهتمام إلا أنها شفقة لم ترتقي لإسلوب إنساني .. مجرد تأدية واجب
حتى زوجات أبنائه وجد منهن عنتًا لا يليق بكبر سنه.

سر الرواية يكمن في تصوير الرجل العجوز ومدي معاناته هذا ما وجدت أنه سرها

عندما تقراء الروايه لن تجد الاسلوب المشوق الذي يجذبك لمتابعة القراءة دون توقف ،لكن هناك شي اخر يشعرك برغبة المتابعه ، الا وهو واقعية الاحداث من الواقع حيث ذكريات ربما عشتها او سمعت عنها وعاصرتها او لربما خوفك من الوصول لهده المرحله من العمر التي ينعدم فيها التواصل بين الاجيال ويصعب تحديد ما هو مهم في حياة من بلغ هدا العمر......

Hassan Daoud is a Lebanese writer and journalist. Born in the village of Noumairieh, his family moved to Beirut when he was a child. His university studies focused on Arabic literature. His journalistic career happened with the break of the Lebanese civil war.

Currently he works as an editor for Nawafez (the cultural supplement of the Beiruti newspaper Al-Mustaqbal).
