Cherijo and Duncan, I like them together more and more. They get kidnapped and sent back to Earth and her psycho dad. She finds out dad made her not just for his kid, but for his wife - sicko! He experiments on her and when they try to free themselves, they're rescued by a group of people who have been living in the mountains. She and Duncan try to figure out how to get out of this new situation because it doesn't look like they'll let them leave either. Cherijo learns more secrets about her "fa...more

These are starting to get boring. The author appears to be taking advantage of this series to write whatever ideas cross her mind, rather than having a neat series planned out ahead of time. On top of that the repetitive plots are getting old, as is the increase in graphic and explicit unneccessary sex scenes.

Some series grow better with time. This one feels like there hasn't been anything new since book two.

Definitely not literature, but still mostly acceptable for complete popcorn sci-fi.

For a fourth book and one of those dollar general $1 books it was really good. As in I'd pay 8 bucks to read the another book by the same author. I really liked the characters and everything was solid as far as storyline, plot, and pacing. The ending was really cute, the only thing I didn't really like was the other books were so talked about I knew I was missing out.

Not as good as i thought it would be....but pretty mesmerizing nontheless.. i still love Duncan.
dind´t like that all the action happen in Terra....i like discovering other planets, what i´ve loved on the other books.
can´t wait to see what happens with Marel..XD
i totally recomend this series!!

I started the series here which means I missed the first three books but while I found it a good read with some interesting characters I didn't find it interesting enough to continue with the series.

Many more trials and tribulations. A bit repetitive with the drama; new settings, buy the same old capture and pain. Slightly less torture this time, thank goodness.

The space opera continues. This book was filled with interesting plot twists. Again, I will have to visit the library and get the next one.

I'm not quite sure what to make of the end.
Overall it was a great read and i enjoyed reading about Cherijo's adventures. It was nice to finally see a particular person get blasted.

Struggled through this book hoping for the best though the author employed every negative stereotype about Native Americans they could find. I feel certain it was not the author's intention to treat a whole culture respectfully without redemption but they managed to do so.

It has been quite a while since I last read a book in the Stardoc series. Maybe that was a good thing because I totally enjoyed this one. Wrapped up a lot concerning Cherijo's creation and ongoing problems with her 'father' as well as solidifying her relationship with Duncan. Love the new characters that were introduced as well as some old ones who returned. Looking forward to the next book as the group heads out into space. I really enjoy Viehl's writing and look forward to more adventures with...more

There were some crazy crazy new developments. This book does not disappoint. And the ending...I had to reread it several times to take it all in. Loved it, can't get enough of this series.

Seriously, I didn't like this as much. It bordered on perpetually creepy. But, it was good! The author packs an amazing amount of storyline in this series!

I can't read another of these personally because i just cant deal with the same plot over and over again. If i want that, i will watch Star Trek reruns, thanks.

At this point, you either love the series or can't stand to not finish it.
