Recommends it for: beginning readers and parents reading with them
Shelves: pets, 2009, childrens
This is a good book for beginning readers. Some of the narrative is a bit awkward, but it is simple enough for even the most beginning readers. It's short and has colorful illustrations that will keep even a young child's interest.

This cute little book has fun with the art of playing with kitty cats and has adorable drawings of those lovable creatures. Prepare to purrrr with delight!
Sometimes cats are a pain, sometimes they aren't. A good book for the five year old to introduce him/her to reading.
Early readers. Sifht words. Repetitive.
This book I liked alot was that it was about cats and how she want to play with cats. I love that she wanted to play with cats because I love cats and mom's house has 10 cats. I was just a really cute book to reead.
"Oh, Cats!" by Nola Buck, is about a girl who wants to play with three cats. However, these cats have minds of their own when it comes to having fun. Level 0.4
For what it is, the simplest form of literature, it does its job well. No real characters or plot, but at this point, it's exciting to see six-year-olds read anything.
