Sadly, I found this to be a poorly written book on a very interesting topic. I was reminded of a professor who has been collecting lots of research and information and desperately needs an audience to listen. Thus, his students become the victims of this regurgitation. The writing was dry and very long winded. Professor Benite spent paragraph after paragraph telling things that could have been explained in a few sentences. I was excited when I finally got this book from the library. Unfortunately, the book was just way too dry and meandering to be of much use. I barely made it through the 30+ page introduction, and gave up somewhere in chapter 1. If you are interested in the way the ten tribes hold our imagination and reading chapters about the esoteric psychological and emotional hold they have on one's nationalistic and religious psyche, then dive right in.
