Recommends it for: those thinking of going into or already in animal rescue or fostering
I received this book through Goodreads First Reads.
The forward by Dean Koontz is a good beginning to the book. It was moving, and it made me feel like I want to start fostering.
As for the rest of the book, it reads like a textbook and a powerpoint presentation. The format makes it easy to read, though. And it touches on Everything. It goes over the legalities of animal rescue and fostering, how you can help if you can't foster, finding volunteers, managing volunteers, financial advise, health
