The Princess and the Frog written by Walt Disney was a great story to continue reading. Before reading this book I analyzed the front cover, this certain book is a limited collector's edition. It is also a read-aloud storybook which brings up to my mind that this a book that I could easily read to my class as a read- aloud book. Also the images in the book are very similar to the movie that was made from this book, that is another element that I noticed. Behind this book I noticed that it wasn't...more

Tiana for most of her life wanted to open a restaurant and she worked hard to get to her goal. The restaurant was the dream of her and her father, but he had passed away years ago. The prince went to Tiana and ask her to kiss him so he can return to be human again and offered her a reward, which she thought the money could go towards the restuarant. But, after she kis...more

I think this book would be a great fit for beginning readers. If they've seen the movie it would help them with the content within the book. The audience this book is intended for are young girls. I would use this book in my classroom to help beginning readers learn to read. I gave this book 4 stars because I'm no...more

This was a cute retelling of the movie. The little trivia questions were fun and would definitely be engaging for younger readers.

Typical Disney Princess fare. Our girls really enjoyed the story and, of course, the amazing illustrations. I know they will want to see this movie.
