Katie Kendall knew about making two beings operate as one—she participated in two-in-hand combined driving competitions. If she could control two horses in the same harness, then surely two cowboys in the same relationship would be a piece of cake. Right?

Daniel Westin had loved Katie when they were both teenagers and confusion over his changing sexuality made him leave her...more

I like stories about cowboys, gay or straight, so when I read the back blurb of Two In Hand I instantly wanted to buy and read this book by Mary Winter.
And it did definitely not disappoint me: I liked this novel about two men and one woman very, very much! I'll list my High 5, Low 5 on Two In Hand.

Low 5

• The first low is that I’d never read anything by Mary Winter before: a missed chance! But the good thing is that I have yet a...more

Review 2011:
An ok book. A nice story, good characters, could easily have been fleshed out. Doesn't leave me screaming for more though, not exactly running to read next book by the author.

Review 2014:
I guess I re-read this one. For some weird reason I didn't double check with GR. Usually I read and re-read the blurb on GR before starting a book to make sure it's something I really want to read.

I had to bump it from 4 stars to 3.5 because of the terrible editing. Sometimes the wrong name was even used. And let's be honest, the men in the cover are not attractive at all. The synopsis let me look past it, but it's just not a cover that attracts the eye when you're looking for a good erotica. If it wasn't for that, it was a nice easy read with good characters nice storyline. I will be continuing with the series as apart from the editing, I did enjoy the book.

Mary commutes between her dream home near the Mark Twain national forest in Missouri and her current residence in Iowa. She lives with a menagerie of animals including an opinionated horse and a cat who was a dog in past life. When not writing spicy tales of erotic romance, she enjoys writing science fiction and fantasy, spending time with her horse, and enjoying the outdoors. Lucky for her, her p...more
