Jake and his family go to the park. They meet another family and decide to spend the day with them. The family has a girl for Jake's sister to play with. The also have a boy Jake's age, but he is in a wheelchair. Jake is uncomfortable interacting with the young boy until Jake finds out they have many things in common.

JAKE'S NEW FRIEND is in a wheelchair. It takes some encouraging words from his father, but Jake approaches Tom, and now they are the best of friends.

Warning: There is a reference of God in this book, but in just one sentence.
