Race and Liberty in America is an easy-to-read collection of information from original sources. It touches on many important aspects of history--many that still affect us in one way or another. It touches on slavery, immigration, employment, and others. I found it extremely helpful in sorting out today's immigration debate, which sounds very similar to the debate that occured in the late 1800's when the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed.
