Race and Liberty in America is an easy-to-read collection of information from original sources. It touches on many important aspects of history--many that still affect us in one way or another. It touches on slavery, immigration, employment, and others. I found it extremely helpful in sorting out today's immigration debate, which sounds very similar to the debate that occured in the late 1800's when the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed. This book has some great speeches and quotes throughout. I love the idea of TRUE classical Liberalism, not the watered down kind we see today.
