One should retitle this book “A popular version of some of Joseph Farrell’s conclusions without the rigor and discipline of Joseph Farrell’s scholarship.” Jim Marrs’ thesis is sound and not new: an elite group has controlled Western politics and economics for the past 100 years. This group is connected to or synonymous with the Anglo-American banking establishment. Their modus operandi consists in playing different political and national factions against one another.

I chose this book due to these words: Throw out everything you think you know about history. Close the approved textbooks, turn off the corporate mass media, and whatever you do, don't believe anything you hear from the government—The Rise of the Fourth Reich reveals the truth about American power." I was not dissapointed!

This book clearly explains that 'the U.S. helped defeat Germany in WWII, but it did not defeat the Nazi's." Dubious war criminal activity was expunged for...more

If you want something to think about in the next month or so read this book. It is shelved in "Speculation" and that should alert the reader to be cautious of its content; although I must admit that Marrs does put a pretty good source file for his beliefs.

The gist of the book is that the United States is fast moving to National Socialism. National Socialism was the movement that was made popular in Germany by Adolph Hitler. The word Nazi came form National Socialism. Ma...more

This book starts with the origins of the Nazi regime in Germany, and how this regime was funded by the Rockefeller oil cartel and the military industrial complex that runs the United States. Jim has serious facts/truths that backs up all his statements with impeccable research. The book then proceeds to explain how a significant portion of the Nazis escaped, and even had routes planned in the event that they would need to escape. They escaped to many parts of the world -- parts in Europe outs...more

This is the mother of conspiracy books. Read this and you will understand why some people feel it necessary to carry assault weapons to town hall meetings about health care. Yes, providing care to sick people is part of the conspiracy.

By the way, Hitler did not die, nor did Martin Bormann and oh yes, Rockefeller and some of his friends are in on it too. It was Rockefeller money that funded the degradation of the American education system. This conspiracy dates back to the Holy Roman ...more

The Rise of the Fourth Reich is the ultimate conspiracy book. Imagine a book contending that neither Hitler nor Bormann died at the end of the war. Imagine that the book is so bold as to connect Roswell’s famous UFO incident with Nazi super-technology—specifically anti-gravity devices and flying saucers. Then, add in delicious innuendo showing that Prescott Bush (along with the famous John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles), father of President George H. W. Bush and grandfather of President George ...more

Wow... simply wow. I have read some far out theories before but this guy created something above and beyond. I had no idea that the Nazis still had full control of the world. Everything that has happened since World War II is all a part of the Nazi plan. The Bush family are Nazis as well... that's nothing original. He even found a place to throw in that absolute fact (without explaining) that Dick Cheney blew up the world trade centers. Every once in a while he did come back to reality and say s...more

I don't like diving off the side of the cliff into the murky waters of conspiracy theories of the highest nature. I would have been forced to do that to completely enjoy Marrs' book. It is full of facts and dark connections between the world's past and the current elite, but he adds a lot of conjecture that lowers the quality of his ideas. Jim Marrs is the ultimate conspiracy theorist, but I don't want to ride roundtrip on it. I'll ride it for a bit, but there is a point where I need to get off ...more

Jim Marrs is the type of excellent researcher to write a book like this. For anyone who hasn't any knowledge beyond mainstream history, this book will be an eye-opener.

Marrs details the extent of America's wealthy families, banks and corporations who funded Hitler's Germany and it's rise to power. And how various U.S. government organizations shifted thousands of Nazi scientists and researchers in many key fields safely into positions of U.S. high tech corporations and government res...more

Basically takes the rumors of the Illuminati and links them with the leaders of the 20th century through the Skull & Bones Society. Then shows how the some of the leaders in the west supported the Nazis. I think they were supporting the Nazis for the same reason that they supported the Bolsheviks and the Republicans AND the Democrats. They want to maintain influence on whoever gets into power.
The supposed goals of the Illuminati are to abolish government, private property, inheritance, the...more

Very well researched and very enlightening except the part regarding the ancient societies of Egypt and Sumer. Abraham was definitely not Sumerian and he did not bring any knowledge at all to the ancient Egypt. I wish the writer did research these issues better.

However, all the information about the Nazis, Neonazis, the ones who used these monsters must be known by the public.

This book will open your eyes to the elite players of Global finance and power. I was stunned by the information contained in this book and tried to do some internet research on the contents. I haven't found anything yet that would lead me to believe that the author is making any of this up. Maybe you can? Read it and I promise, you will never look at the world news the same again!

I approached this book with much knowledge about the different topics. Mr. Marrs is very adept at tying all the conspiracies and legends together with facts. The picture he paints should be burned into one's memory. The social and politcal upheaval has begun and we must not be lulled into a false sense of security. This was an excellent bit of wtitintg and research. An excellent book!

"A conspiracy theory book that contains quite a bit of history about WWII, Nazi scientists, engineers and the Nazi military-industrial complex, and how the US government absorbed the conquered third reich's technology. Last part of the book illuminates modern schemes and plots reeking of Nazi ideology."
Robert
Great book to learn about the real history of the world. This book outlines various secret societies, including the Nazis, and their relationship with international banking and geopolitics. Must read, really.

An interesting look at the money and business connections behind the Nazis and current globalist movement. However, dude needs to come out of the bunker for some air, he takes it a little too far at times.

I'm not too big into conspiracy theories.

I was anticipating that this book was going to deal more with the rise of neo-Nazi groups, or others of that ilk. What I found was that each chapter starts-off with (what I consider) established historical fact, then works through some interesting theories that challenge these facts, and then just really goes whole-hog into the conspiratorial maelstrom. Not that this isn't interesting or well-written material (it is), it's just that my anti-c...more

It is darned scary what I learned from this book. The powers to be in the US are definitely not to be trusted and neither are those in big business worldwide.

So far I have not learned anything new, as this synthesizes various aspects of the history of the Third Reich infused with the well documented history of the current globalist/socialist powers shaping world events. What I am learning that is new to me is the ancient technology that the Nazi's were testing during WWII. I love Jim Marrs' works as they are always engaging, well-written, and helps to draw the reader's attention to the relationships between seemingly unrelated issues.

Finished the majority of the book but am going to recheck or purchase to finish. Though some may consider this book a conspiracy book it is much more. If you take away some of the assumptions and heresay there is some of the truths in this book that should not be ignored. I feel that I read enough of this book to accurately rate it at this time.

I have not read enough yet to say anything but my brother said it was really good

Wow! What a great read. Jim Marrs documents and cites sources so well, presenting amazing information to the reader. I learned so much about the Third Reich and the aftermath of WWII that my school books never mentioned. Loved this.

I can't tell if I stopped reading this book halfway because it was so poorly written or because it was so depressing to find documentary confirmation that the world going to hell is all the doing of white rich racist men. Ugh...

Though the topic of UFO's and Knights Templar treasure were a bit unexpected, I found most of the book pretty fascinating. It gels with another book that I just read called "The End of America."

Why did I read this?

I wonder if this would be classified as historical fiction or active history as Newt Gingrich calls it.

A must for everyone. And a good way to start your research into the REAL world.

This is a very scary book. Things are worse than I thought they were.

Lots of interesting history here regarding the rise of the Fascists and how many high ranking Nazi's escaped Germany near the end of WWII... Warning: there are some conspiracy theories presented in the book so you may or may not be interested...
