Wow. Mind Blown.

I read this book only when I was at home. You see, I read even when I'm in a public vehicle, but for this book? Nope. I didn't. I didn't bring it with me outside the house because I wanted to savor it. I wanted to take it slow because really, this book is a journey. You can't skip a single sentence. I was actually kind of sad that it ended!

Okay.. now for the review..

I can't believe that a person can envision a world such as this. I pro

This took longer to read than it should have - I let life distract me. Overall, this is a good Quest story. In part one (which I didn't read), the Humans have managed to destroy part of the Elves home. They find out that the elves are sabotaging their father's construction machines to keep him and his housing construction company from destroying their woods. In addition, all is not completely harmonious and peaceful in the elves' world as one faction of aggre ...more

This second book is even darker than the first, and Daniel Kirk has created a lot of compelling and frightening characters... by letting us see into the villains' minds, they become much more fleshed out. I can't wait for the conclusion of this wonderful series!
