This book is an awesome tool to help GM build memorable encounters with known monsters. The deeper look that is given into each creature's history, campaign role and known "examples" makes it easy to have the creature as the main villain type in an adventure. I also really enjoyed the "Facets of Fear" sidebar that looks at the creature from a "real world" point of view. All in all, one of the best book from the Pathfinder Chronicles series!
