I loved this. It's well-written, tightly-plotted and I like the characters. The intrigue works well, and this reads like one of those short western novels that I bought as a kid. Much great observed detail- Veinglory takes the time to get the right word, the right expression, and it all felt realistic and believable. No weepy men, no nonsense, and a surprise resolution to the very serious issues raised here.

Recommends it for: No one
The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. The characters made no sense, the plot didn't stand up to any kind of scrutiny, and I wasn't impressed with the sex scenes.
